Our Virtual AeroClub provides you with the opportunity to explore different aspects of aviation from the comfort of your own home. You can participate in realistic flight simulations, where you can fly different types of aircraft in detailed and challenging scenarios. Additionally, we offer IberSchool, a unique vATO that provides the necessary theoretical knowledge and guidance from our instructors. You can learn about navigation, air communications, and other flight-related skills.

WHAT IS?

The Virtual Aeroclub of GIB Virtual is an online project that offers a realistic virtual aviation experience. Members can fly in a virtual fleet of GIB Virtual aircraft, participate in special events, interact with other virtual pilots, and access training and certification programs.

WHAT ARE YOUR OBJECTIVES?

The objectives of GIB Virtual's Virtual Aeroclub are:

  • Create a community passionate about virtual aviation: The aeroclub aims to bring together virtual aviation enthusiasts in an active and engaged community, fostering interaction among members and promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

  • Provide opportunities for general aviation flights: The aeroclub offers a platform for members to enjoy virtual flights in light aircraft, recreating the experience of general aviation with realistic routes, procedures, and operations.

  • Offer training and certification programs: The aeroclub provides training and certification programs for members interested in improving their virtual flying skills, enabling them to achieve higher levels of competence and knowledge.

  • Promote special events and activities: The aeroclub organizes special events such as group flights, competitions, and themed activities, aiming to encourage active participation of members and create an atmosphere of camaraderie and fun.

  • Provide a friendly and exciting environment: The aeroclub seeks to create a friendly and exciting environment for members to enjoy their passion for virtual aviation, fostering collaboration, respect, and enjoyment within the community.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The operation of GIB Virtual's Virtual Aeroclub is simple and accessible to any active pilot in GIB Virtual.

Aeroclub members can make use of the two available bases in Reus and Cuatro Vientos. Furthermore, they will have access to a wide variety of aircraft to plan and enjoy exciting VFR (Visual Flight Rules) journeys throughout the national territory.

Instruction Time:

If you wish to receive flight instruction, we offer an attractive option at just 90v€ per hour. Our highly trained instructors will guide you through all the necessary aspects to become a safe and competent pilot.

Aircraft Checkout:

Every Aeroclub member must complete an "Aircraft Checkout" before flying with our aircraft. This checkout includes a 20-minute session of basic theory about the aircraft, followed by thrilling 40 minutes of takeoffs and landings at the aircraft's base. This step is essential to ensure your familiarity and safety while flying with us. At the Aeroclub, we are dedicated to providing a unique and exciting flight experience for all our members.
